ED7121 - Creating Web Sites for Teachers 1

Summary

Learn the fundamentals of creating a well-designed, well-organized and graphically-pleasing web site. Become familiar with the basic web site building blocks: HTML the framework for content, and, CSS, the key to page layout and formatting. Tools we will use: NotePad, TextEdit, Inspiration, Internet browsers and Adobe Dreamweaver. Text purchase required. Check the syllabus link below for current text information.

Prerequisite: Basic Computer Graphics for Teachers (ED 7013) or Photoshop I (ED 7406)

Materials Needed: Please bring a Flash drive or external hard drive to class to back up and transport your class files and work. Also make sure you have access to an online email account which you will use to be granted access rights to the course wiki where the handouts reside.
